Leading as Christ and Standing in Holy Places

Week 9

What I Learned:
I learned that 90% of life is just showing up. This concept reminds me of the need to stand in holy places. Most of life happens with us being at the right place at the right time. For example, I met my husband because we both happened to be at the right place at the right time. Part of this includes standing in places that invite and being a person that invites the spirit to enter and dwell always. As we do these things, we become a leader that follows Christ and that strives to exemplify the way He led and still leads His people. As we do these things, all will be well, with us and those we lead.

In addition, I learned that the best leader there ever was is Christ. As we strive to develop Christ-like attributes, we become better leaders that are humble, obedient to good, confident and firm in morals and values, faithful, trusting, trustworthy, genuinely caring and giving, successful, loving, compassionate (to yourself and others), balanced, and strong.

I also learned that the rarest and most valuable skill is to be able to execute and execute well. We need to learn to get the job done and get it done efficiently and well, without wasting time and energy on things of no matter or consequence.

What I Need to Learn:
I need to learn how to better execute. I can get a job done and get it done well, but I often waste too much time and energy on things and situations that do not matter. I need to exercise sacrifice of the things that will not bring me success so I may have and seek after the things that will bring the true desired results, and will bring those results quicker. I also need to continuously learn how to better become like Christ. Becoming and mastery are a life-long process; therefore, I will not get that perfect in this life; however, I can always be striving with faith and endurance in the Lord Jesus Christ.
