Week 12: What I Learned: I really loved the video "Entrepreneurship and Consecration". It taught me so much! I learned that I need to t each myself that it is not what I have, but what I am. Who you are is not what you say, but what you do. I need to listen to the voice within and the voice of God rather than the voice of the world; be inward focused but outward driven. I learned that I need to t urn to the scriptures to know how to run my business. It has it all! I need to d o all things for the purpose of doing the will of the Lord. If making tons of money is my purpose, even if it is for the purpose of helping others, I will not be happy, nor will I be where the Lord wants me to be. The voice of God is needed in my financial business. I also learned that when we begin to make service to others needs our constant progress, our needs will be met. Week 11 What I Learned: For our businesses, we have to have passion and have to believe that it all is worth it. It is always a struggle to balance life and family, but if we believe enough in all that we do with family and work, we will make time for both and strive and do all we can to get that time in for all our passions. We must put the Lord and our families first, and all things will be balanced in the ways they need to be balanced. What makes life balanced is the understanding that “I am here now” and “I am going to be there then”. Being mindful and present in each moment is finding life balance. Setting priorities and planning our day in accordance with those priorities (shifting out what we don't want in life) is a way to balance. We can stay balanced by being ethical. Never put yourself into a situation where you can’t say no, where you can’t be flexible. We need to be flexible in our plans. We must pay attention to what is important, ask ourselves the right quest...

Week10 What I Learned: This week's readings felt like an answer to my prayers. I have been striving to know what career path to choose, and the career path I desire to pursue requires much hard work and more years in school than I ever used to plan on attending. I had felt the Lord's confirmation of this career path at a previous time, and I knew I desired this path, so I felt pretty strongly that this path (to become a Nutritionist) was one that would be good for me and my family. However, in the last couple of weeks and at the beginning of this week, I felt very inadequate. I didn't believe in myself and in my abilities to push through with more schooling and start my own practice as a Nutritionist. I didn't have faith in myself to be able to accomplish these big dreams I had, and I wasn't implementing faith in Christ and His ability to help me to do and become more than I am now. Week 9 What I Learned: I learned that  90% of life is just showing up. This concept reminds me of the need to stand in holy places. Most of life happens with us being at the right place at the right time. For example, I met my husband because we both happened to be at the right place at the right time. Part of this includes standing in places that invite and being a person that invites the spirit to enter and dwell always. As we do these things, we become a leader that follows Christ and that strives to exemplify the way He led and still leads His people. As we do these things, all will be well, with us and those we lead. In addition, I learned that the best leader there ever was is Christ. Week 8 What I Learned: I learned that being persistent and consistent, even when things are or become difficult, is needed to obtain mastery and to become successful-to fulfill the full measure of our creation and potential. We must a lways keep enduring and keep trying, no matter how long it takes. We must not underestimate ourselves and the Lord; we must not doubt ourselves and what we can do. And the Lord will bless us to push forth and accomplish all we are meant to accomplish. With the Lord, we can do amazing things! I also learned that we need to get to the source of issues and problems. If something continues to go wrong as we keep trying to pursue the same idea/goal and are doing what we can to be persistent and consistent, then taking a step back and trying to figure out the source of the issues will help us to better progress and see improvement.
