Final Advice

Week 14-Final Week This class has been very insightful and influential; it has filled me with great knowledge and has helped me to see things and myself with a new perspective. All around, this class has been one of my favorites. With what I have learned, the last bit of advice that I would share with someone striving to become an entrepreneur would be to remember and commit to these three things: 1. Your values 2. Your family 3. Our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ, and your relationship with them These three things are most important because they create the guardrails that keep you on the right path; they are your trail markers; they together create your safety net. These three things provide true meaning in our lives, a meaning that can be fulfilled by no other way; they provide true joy and happiness in this life. Doing What You Love and Being Honest With Yourself

Week 13: What I Learned: I really learned a lot from the video "Avoid the Wrong Job". I learned: * Don’t do things because you think they are what another person wants to do. Tell your story and do what you are passionate about. You get to craft your story. * Pick something you think is fun and that you are going to enjoy. Don’t take a job that you hate just so you can move on to something better. Do something you love now. * Pick your career now. Then you can change later if you desire. You can always change and choose different ventures. The world has changed from sticking with one job to engaging in several throughout life. Subtract the anxiety and pressure of choosing a career and you will choose something you actually like.   * Recognize that you don’t want to be “the best” at something. Don’t be a specialist. Learn more and be well-rounded, more generalized. And take advantage of opportunities that come up that may take you out of...
